Marian Medical Center

Santa Maria, CA

Stretch electrical and communications conduit from Paso Robles to Santa Maria, and you’d still be 10 miles short of the amount Thoma Electric installed inside the new Marian Regional Medical Center (72 miles) in order to power the 236,700 square foot acute care hospital. Additionally, Thoma crews installed more than 1.2 million feet of copper power wire throughout the hospital, all powering more than 9,300 light fixtures, tens of thousands of receptacles, switches and sensors and other sophisticated electrical and communication systems. The hospital has a fully segregated power distribution system for Life Safety, Critical and Equipment Branch circuiting, and 11 electrical rooms among its five stories.
