Thoma Electric, Inc. has emerged as one of the State of California’s leading fire station and public safety electrical engineering firms. With nearly 100 fire stations successfully completed, the design team is well qualified to guide the electrical systems design. Comfort, energy efficiency, and functionality are the focus of our design effort. The Thoma engineering team has completed eight LEED projects of which six are fire station projects. Although fire stations are public facilities, we understand the need for fire personnel comfort and convenience, as these spaces become home to police, firefighters and paramedics during their watch. These facilities must be equipped with not only the “state-of-the-art” communications and radio systems, but pathways and infrastructure that allow for technology upgrade and evolution over the lifetime of the facility.
