SLO Chamber Picks Board For New Term

The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce has announced the election of five new board members and the re-election of four.

All are from the local business community.

Joining the board are: Tim Billing, general manager of the Embassy Suites Hotel; John Ewan, owner of Pacific Energy Co.; Anita Robinson, CEO of Mission Community Bank; Bill Thoma, president of Thoma Electric Inc.; and Patricia Wilmore, local area manager of government relations for Pacific Gas and Electric Co.

Current board members reelected are: Michael Gunther, president of Collaboration LLC; Kathi Main, co-owner of Kevin Main Jewelry; Jeanne Potter, principal at GBP&B Tax and Business Services Inc.; and Ali Semon, owner of Frame Works.

Representing the interests of the business community, the chamber has more than 1,500 members.
